Privacy Policy — Cassie Alexander Video Publisher

This Privacy Policy describes how the "Cassie Alexander Video Publisher" application ("the App") handles information. The App is a private, internal tool operated solely by Cassie Alexander to publish her own video content (vertical drama episodes and audiobook videos) to YouTube channels that she owns and controls.

What the App accesses

When authorized, the App uses the YouTube Data API and the following Google account permissions (scopes):

Upload YouTube videos (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload): used to upload finished video files to the operator's own YouTube channels.
Manage your YouTube account (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.force-ssl): used to set each uploaded video's title, description, language localizations, thumbnail, captions, and publishing status on the operator's own channels.

The App accesses only the YouTube channels of the operator who authorizes it. It does not access any other person's YouTube account or data.

How information is used

Information obtained through these permissions is used for one purpose only: to upload and configure the operator's own video content on the operator's own YouTube channels. The App does not use this access for advertising, profiling, or any unrelated purpose.

How information is stored

To avoid repeated sign-ins, the App stores Google OAuth access and refresh tokens locally on the operator's own computer. These tokens are not transmitted to any third party. No viewer data, audience data, or analytics are collected, stored, or processed by the App.

Sharing of information

The App does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share any data obtained through Google APIs with any third party. Data is exchanged only between the App and Google's own APIs in order to perform uploads requested by the operator.

Limited Use disclosure

The App's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The App does not use Google user data for serving advertisements, and does not allow humans to read such data unless required for security, to comply with applicable law, or with the operator's explicit consent.

Data retention and revocation

Stored tokens are retained only as long as the App is in use and are deleted when the operator removes them or revokes the App's access. Access can be revoked at any time from the operator's Google Account permissions page at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
