Hello all!
So I had a literary short story published in the wonderful eleveneleven magazine. I’m particularly proud of it, since it’s not what I normally do or am known for.
Yesterday I had my highest word count day evar! 7600 words. Blazed out on an all new thing that you all will, if the stars align!, be hearing more about shortly ;).
And tonight’s Bloodshifted writing was grand. Falling into the story again, and it feels really good.
Andity and — I read Savvy and a Tale Dark and Grimm. I swear, it’s so much easier to write good words after reading quality ones. Both of those books are amazing. And I’m reading some comics now too, because Comic-con — I just finished the Invisibles. I did like it, but it was a bit of going into the deep end. I appreciate the hell out of multi-layered meta stuff, but in the third volume it was hard for me to keep track of the story. (I kept reading the words and not looking at all the pictures intently enough, ha!) I’ll definitely read more Grant Morrison though, and I loved his breezy attitude in the letter columns. I wish I could be that cool.
I’m completely boring right now in a good happy way. I’m on at work this weekend, so I’m hoping that trend continues ;).
